Gandhi's view on how non-violence should be trained is hard because you have to devote a life time to become non-violent and you have to train to be patient and since he believed in many lives then he said it may take many lives before one can master it. I think that a normal human being will want to fight and it would take intense mental strength in order to disobey your instincts to fight back or not keep a humble mind if someone attacks you. Gandhi said that you have to prepare your self in order to die because if you have that train of thought then you will not want to fight back because if you are willing to call it an end then there is nothing you want to fight for.
Then there is another part to non-violence which says that you can not kill anything not even if you are fighting against a group or trying to protect something special to you which I think that I can not do because if my life is at steak then I will defend it at all cost. You also have to have faith if you are going to believe in non-violence because you have to believe that you are doing it for a purpose and that you will forgive the person you are going against because they do not know what they are doing. The way that you would defeat an opponent is by love no matter how much they want to kill you because that is the only way that society will be purely of knowledge and people making life worth wild.
